Dust of His Feet

Oswald Chambers (My Utmost for His Highest) says that if there were never any clouds in our life, we wouldn't develop faith and we wouldn't have opportunities to see God work. Nahum 1:3 says that storms and clouds are the dust of God's feet. They are a clear indication that He is moving and working, even when we don't see the how or why. "The clouds and storms are a sign that God is there. What a revelation to know that sorrow, bereavement and suffering are the clouds that come along with God's steps."
